A fatal accident on the Dixie Highway in Louisville on April 3 has also resulted in injuries to 3 other victims.  The two car crash occurred around 7:30 PM as a car pulled out into the Dixie Highway from the intersection with Flintlock Drive.  The driver of the car which pulled into the intersection lost her life at the scene, while the passenger in her car was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle which was southbound on the Dixie Highway and a passenger in that vehicle was also transported to University Hospital, fortunately with non-life threatening injuries.  While investigation is still underway and speed may have been a factor, this car accident reminds all of us to be more cautious when approaching intersections or when making a turn onto a major thoroughfare from a side street.
